As of the 1st November 2001, a consortium consisting of the current Directors of RSL COM Australia and Babcock and Brown, a leading Merchant Bank, has completed a management buy-out of RSL COM Australia.

RSL COM Australia is now in a unique position, as Australia's largest privately owned telecommunications provider. Our strategy is to focus on our core business of delivering effective voice, data and Internet solutions to our business customers. We have therefore recently divested areas of the business that were not part of this core business. This includes our phone card business (Ezi Phonecard), the mobile resale business (RSL COM Mobile) and our residential business (Digiplus).
